Kindle and graphics
Kindle and graphics
Kindle is not the most popular when it comes to graphics. The e-Ink screen that it has is incapable of displaying colours and that is one of the most significant drawback kindle has. People who are reading books and have subscribed to magazines online would always prefer to go with the device which displays colours otherwise it becomes too studious and monotonous in nature and makes it very tough to re-freshen up if it’s always black and white. Kindle and graphics have nothing in similar because kindle is incapable of displaying high definition graphics that well and even if does show it’s always black and white and so the underlying importance of graphics is half subtracted there itself. Kindle and graphics have a very unfamiliar relationship because the technology kindle uses is not same as what we see in laptop. The graphics displayed in kindle are very different from LCD displays. They are in terms of definition they are 150-220 dpi where as in LCD it is around 96 dpi. The graphics displayed in kindle are monochrome in nature and these graphics are very slow and irritating at times to refresh. Kindle and graphics are not the best when they are taken in terms of combination and even the founder of the product kindle has done very little to hide the fact that graphics of kindle is not amongst the best. One of the basic drawbacks is that the whole screen only displays any and that means just anything only in two colours black or white. The screen is not very graphics friendly and when downloading an e-book its mostly seen that high definition pictures and covers of magazines or books are not very well displayed and sometimes not displayed at all showing error. It’s very highly suggested that when you are think of downloading an e-book or magazines primarily for pictures or if they are many photos in them, then please pull back your desire to download those books. Kindle and graphics may not go very well along but the most important fact is that Amazon had thought of this way before introducing kindle in the market and the way it compensates for it is by reducing the price of an e-book to be downloaded on kindle is much lesser than what it would be from Amazon library. So even if there is little bit less fun in terms of content of pictures and graphics but they have made up for it by offering the whole major content for much lesser and lucrative price putting consumer in a diplomatically dilemmatic situation who eventually give in to the temptation of low price and full authority over the books.
